ive been using a couple from aldis 4.5" and 5" disks they lasted quite well as i normally use the dronco type ones they was equal to equal on how long they lasted between the thin 1mm disks

The standard Dronco ones are reasonably good, they cut fast, but also wear fast I've found.

I always like to bulk buy, then I dont need to buy any for ages, a job comes in say I have got 20 left I buy another big batch and carry on forgetting about them

I use 1mm Sait discs, very good, they cut fast & last well. Far better than the 3m ones that evaporate as soon as they touch any steel.

I wouldnt buy anything but smith & arrow these days. Been through a few hundred of the 1mm's and never left me down!

interesting no one uses Neilson discs. A couple of friends used expensive ones and ran out.....borrowed some off me and brought 10 boxes later that week

I am not saying they are the best but seem to do the job and last well enough.

I tend to pick up a pack of 10 every time i'm in the local building supply place so I've built up a bit of a supply. Cheapo brands seem to hold up well enough. Funnily enough the worst I've had were Makita branded ones.

on par with bluespot but if u get them for next to nowt. it works out a lot cheaper than paying a fortune for branded ones

We use kronenflex disks at work, they're tight as chuff so I would imagine they are fairly good value
