I bought one of these a bit back, a bit of an impulse buy, but I had grabbed a deal they had going for a drill plus impact driver with charger and batteries.
I was impressed by the kit (the Chinese kit has improved quite a lot now in most stuff??).
So as I had the batteries and charger anyway, I got one.
Why- I had read on here that Langy uses Milwuakee cordless a/gs and rates them, I did not expect this to be in the same class as Milwaukee and its not, but it was the concept I wanted to try out without mega outlay.
Performance-not bad, I was suprised. I use a 60 grit flapwheel on it, no pressure apart from the weight of the tool itself and its pretty good.
Main use is for shining up steel before TIG, but also dressing of MIG welds and the occasional bevel prep on 3mm etc.
Battery life- ha, well, maybe 8-10 minutes at a guess; maybe less, but although that sounds pants, its actually not a problem for me.
General-being battery powered it seems less "agressive" than full powered version-I know that should be obvious but I find its quite a good feature and (I know slap my Rs) I can use it one handed no probs, even with my mullah'd wrists.
I did not expect much, but I can't put the flippin thing down, its been in daily use since I got it and so I'm well chuffed, and sold on the concept of cordless a/gs.
Conclusion-probably ok for light users, handy for car restoration guys n gals I would imagine. Serious fabrication/pro users would most likely find its battery life impractical.
