about 102FJust been out in the van. 36degrees.
Heat wave a couple of years ago the rather attractive female apprentice I was serving my time with came out of the locker room and declared she was down to her knickers and bra underneath her overalls. Suprising amount of tradesman needed her to work on their job that day. And yes, her overalls popped open once or twiceFor a moment it looked like I might have to go into the roof space of a zinc clad building to repair a cable but luckily the fault was out on the pole, last time we had to do a job in a roof space during a heatwave we* measured 54C!
*I say we, I stood and held the ladder while the apprentice sweated his nuts off wearing a Tyvex suit and dust mask.
I did give him permission to strip off to his under pants with the suit over the top.

Danger! That's not a mars bar floating past!Being of work and broken has it perks.
Sat in a paddling pool, with a soggy dog, Mrs Vark out.
Beer in hand, tablet to one side. More beers floating round.
Curry booked for later.
Cheers All!!!!
its a glorious day, don't worry you'll all have to pay to keep warm soon enough
I know what you mean.I can cope with the heat if it's not sudden. Say it ramps up in spring, hot in summer then cools down again - easy.
What I don't like is when one day you're thinking "I might just pop the heating on for a minute", then 2 days later you're melting.
I need time to acclimatise!
