I have been using Bilt Hamber Surfex HD as is biodegradeable, you can pump it safely and its doesn't stink. It's not bad but I still revert to a small tray, parafin and a brush for some stuff.
I have lots of red diesel and at 40p a litre its economical enough but it stinks.
What's in yours?

I don't use a parts washer, but for cleaning/degreasing, it's kerosene, (heating oil), or paraffin every time for me. Cuts through caked on crud better than the likes of white spirit or turpentine substitute, and I prefer it to diesel. Kerosene does have a slightly more pungent odour than paraffin, but nothing too bad.
