after some head frying moments, I've only gone and managed a turners cube! Admittedly there is a very slight radius to the middle cube faces as I hadn't ground the undercut tool square, but still, not bad for a sheet metal worker that learnt to use a lathe buy buying one!

You would have been expected to know, every aspect of the job including tooling, and how to grind the profile, and the machine/s required.

I saw that vid not too long ago. Well beyond my skill level. Nice job. Turn one out of brass next it will look awesome.

Dead easy to hold it in a 3 jaw , I managed it shox Dr , I only have a crappy 18 quid special bench grinder for sharpening tungstens, not quite the tool for grinding up lathe tools, hence why I tend to use tip tools!
