My girlfriend asked me what I was doing, I sent her a picture of my lathe, with the caption "lurvly machining". She replied asking why I had taken a photo of a piece off old junk. Lucky she's good looking.

mine is past helping out now, though she is full of "suggestions" about what "we" need to get on with (we means me BTW). Luckily my eldest daughter is a significantly better lifter I kept telling the wife to lift with her legs but they just wont listen once you marry them

My mate is a retired tool maker and a very very handy lad, but what ever he is doing around the house his wife always has a better way of doing it (despite her not lifting a finger to assist) He bites his tongue most of the time but I have seen him explode with frustration with steam virtually coming out of his ears,

My missus is great to be honest, she does a lot of craft work making painted pots, home decor items and comes up with some really creative ideas for our home businesses.

The only criticism I would have, is that since leaving her office job about 6 years ago she seems to have let her confidence drop and always asks me to fix things that she is perfectly capable of doing or 'how do i do this etc'....

Mrs. ZX9 has turned into a project, she hit 50 last year and discovered the local gym. 3 times a week for a year and she is fitter than she was at 40, long may the project continue.

If she's got looks, fool around with it for a while if you must and then ditch it for one with brains and personality. Lookers can be a fun plaything for a while, but they're hard work. I know it's an old saying, but personality is definitely more important than looks.
