I had a Jawa 350 somewhere about the late 70's or early 80's, it looked a bit more modern in seat and tank design than those in the pictures so they may be showing production a little before that time although the engine and exhaust look very similar.

I miss the likes of Jawa, MZ etc from our modern motorcycling repertois.
They were always a nice fall back, if things went tits up and your life failed, you'd end up commuting to your poorly paid job on an MZ or Jawa with a Sunblest bag full of fish paste sarnies. Now we have to resort to chinese contraptions when our lives hit rock bottom.
Quite sad.

Brother in law had a CZ 250 twin. Ît was a real dog of a bike but you could fix it with Meccano tools. I remember doing the points and it had a set per cylinder.

The Trophy Sports are getting to be silly, and even the 'ugly' Trophy models are expensive. None of mine, five so far two of which are Supa5s, have been more than 200GBP.
I do not even bother looking on eblag anymore, but just have and this MZ will continue to appreciate. I want one, have done for a long, long time, but have never had the spare pennies. I have seen cleaner examples, but for a hand-built in the factory racer.....
?Why it has been listed as ISDT and not ISDE, I know not? MZ won International Six Day ENDURO not Trials.

Boiler factory where I worked years ago had a press similar to that it was made by a firm called Bliss. What a stupid name for an instrument of torture.

I want a Velorex 16/350. They are powered by a variant (electric start) of the 350 twin bike engine

I can't see that bike on ebay, but if it was before the name change then that could explain it.

Factory I worked in bought a 250 ton Bliss from Vauxhall with an 8'x4' bed then built a building around it!

Chap I used to know was marine engineer during WWII. He told me submarines were build in similar way - around the engine. To remove the engine block would require cutting the sub in half as no other way of removing !
No way would you get this through a hatch -
