Any one had any use with tig machines made by the above brand? I'm hoping to lay my hands on one this week as a little chuck about. Used machine, good price from what I've seen they fetch new. The panel looks a bit of head case mind and was curious to know if others have got on with them or not.

I've used a tiger 210 ac/dc extensively - it isn't mine but belongs to a good friend. It's a cracking machine. He has had it for about 6-7 years now, no problems at all with it. Beautiful little thing. Front panel is easy-peasy (unless you're a total idiot)... rotate nob to led, press button, turn to adjust, onto next led...

Well I've failed on idiot proof things in the past so we shall see. I picked it up this morning this is only DC. Rehm tiger 210. I'll now have to make one of my torches fit then I'll have a play. I wasn't going to buy a little chuck about for the car till the big acdc was sold but this was a case of right time right place RIGHT PRICE!!!!!!

Had a play, think I've got it Sussed. It welds pretty nicely. Hf is a little weak when the tungsten is cold but once it's hot it strikes from 20mm so it might just be a gap reset but I'm not sure. I put a wp26 on it to start so I could use the current scope but it's bloody awfull to handle so I swapped it for a 17 and I think the long term plan is to have 2. I'll build another cooler and run a wp20 in shop and have a 17 air cooled when we are having a day out. (If it lasts that long mind) who knows how these things are gonna pay out.

My fronius is inverter based but it's 5 times the size and weight of this tiny thing. And it's less powerful. It makes make laugh because when I look through the fronius manual it's bought up a couple of times how it's light and portable. Which it was when it was been produced 15 years ago. Ha ha the little rehm would fit in the glove box.

Not totally the same but was in local supply shop a couple of weeks back and they had a Clarke MMA box the size of a shoe box and about the weight of one as well. Fair enough only a 110A but hell it's small.

Looks to be an inverter - does TIG as well. Only 80A though. Must have got confused with the model number.

I have the fusion inverter stick welder 160Amps and i sware you would think it is just an empty black plastic box its thats light but it cant half burn rods with what seems like a 100% duty cycle too...much better than lugging a stone of transformer around for small jobs.

Pulse to 500hz save and load different programs it has an arc initiation energy setting, a crator fill setting. I seen them on sites for £1800 new !!!! For the dc only. It's weird because they are not a heavily talked about brand but they must be up there with Kemppi Esab and Lincolns of this world.

Highly regarded in Germany,hold their value very well.thats rehm in general,havent used this model.
if you think thats small, they have another model under the same name in both 170 and 210 thats tiny

They've got an agent in the UK, in Peterborough. It's right at the end of the list you posted.

Probably the same as EWM and a few others, top notch, quite expensive, only a few dealers in the UK, but no real problem with service though.
