Hi jim I'm looking at replacing my standard 26 air cooled torch. After using a flex head at school I have to get rid of mine. Only a few months old and it's falling to bits lol. How much for a 26 flex head to fit an rtech 210 digital machine?

Just buy the torch you want and change the plug. I'm gonna assume it's just an on/off switch (two wires) so you only need to buy an air cooled flex head torch and fit the Rtech plug to it.

So it's just the torch head I need then?? Would like it to have a bulb type switch as the standard type is a pain!! You only have to look at it and it goes off wasting gas.

You just want the head? I'm not sure how interchangeable they are with other makes. That is one for Jim. If it was me I'd just buy a new torch and fit the RTech plug to the cable. That's what I've done with my fronius. I've bought a few of the fronius connectors and soldered them onto non fronius torches.

Just thinking I would like to change the cable for a more flexible job. Jims website is down?

Yes that's what I would do. Change the whole torch for the one you want and simply attach the switch plug so it suits your unit. You'll get a new torch from anywhere

The Bulb Type switch is a Parweld 950B,any supplier should have them in stock

Parweld torch will work with your machine. I personally dislike there range of tig torches with a passion. Every one I touch breaks. Weldcraft, ck, weldtech, I really like the old murex torches but I don't know who made them.

Are we talking about the Murex TW Style torch,how many years are we going back?

They were a wp9/20 bog standard single button job. They were just really nice to hold all day and felt good quality. I used to have a 8 mtr one

Mine was a bit like this but a switch instead of a valve. Nice torch to use.
