Easy cars to weld?

Hi all. My Suzuki Wagon needs the sills welding to get it through the MOT. A MKII Fiesta that I welded up a few years ago was relatively straight-forward but getting at some of the rusty bits on the Suzuki Wagon is a real pig (i.e. awkward welding position, need to remove seats but seat bolts well rusted, etc.) Has anyone found a small car that is easier than average to weld? Does such a car exist? Thanks in advance. Regards, Dan

they all have awkward areas you just have to get on and do it, don't sit around looking at it too long you will be put off, soak the seat bolts well with oil for a while you can always make new mountings

It really does beg the question why you'd want a car you'd be able to weld, most people would want a car they wouldn't need to weld.

This is of course the correct answer. Next to that its one that's been stripped back just the shell. If you do a lot of one model though you learn a few tricks that help, I once over did stacks of series Land Rovers an so learnt many a dodge on them as a result. You always refine things 2nd,3rd, 4th time around fixing the same bits etc

Chassis were steel though I bet. Just the bodywork that was stainless.

The delorean would be doddle to get perfect. Every time you made a c#ck up you could just jump in whip it up to 88mph and re do it until you get it right.

I think it was built in the usual way as a shell not a serious of panels onto a chassis.?
