But its a pain in the butt when you have a problem yourself,
over the last week or so i've been a small amount of porosity in some tig stuff,
did all the usual checks, like checking gas flow, post flow, tungsten condition and all the normal stuff,
still getting a bit of hit n miss porosity,
even fitted a new spare wp9 torch head and gas lens to eliminate that,
still the same,
even fitted my complete wp26 torch,
still the same?
turned out to be where the gas hose nut from the dinse connector tightens up at the front of the welder had worked loose, phew.
not checked it since it was originally fitted nearly 2 years back when the machine was new,
would never have thought to check that, we always tell others to check all their regulator hoses,
a mate mentioned that AC in a machine can cause some stuff to work loose?
