for rats I use an old chainsaw engine with a hose from the exhaust and an extra squirt of 2stroke, and a good terrier....

we use ferrets sometimes and shotgun and wear bycycle clips just in case

They still do around here.

5 have been taken in the last 3 months. Police have only found one JCB, albeit on fire weeks after the incident. Never have they found one doing 3mph down the street, at night, acting suspicious...

fill a plastic coke bottle with acetylene put the lid on and light a rag around then neck then move well away great big bang

the main thing they have to do is simply fill the voids with something, it will only go bang if there are voids enabling gas to build up

But it only needs a small volume of acetylene to make an impressive bang, and you can't have the note delivery system without some voids. Just think of the pop you get when an O/A torch burns back in the nozzle. Volume there is trivial.
