Carbon monoxide detector/alarm

I want to buy one to fit in a 200sqft living room with a multifuel stove in it.

Don't just want to just plump for a cheapie off the bay...
(unless it'll be perfectly OK).
I'm thinking of this one...

Any comments? other suggestions

yes a good make i have to fit the mains battery backup ones on the ceiling for councill jobs but battery ones only will be fine

That is what I use one in the living room (wood burner) one in the kitchen

heres one for u . i went on a callout and was told to disconect a faulty carbon monoxide detector in a punters rented house as it was going off . i asked if the engineer had been out and tested the boiler and they said no . well how do u know the detector is faulty ??send em out and test boiler and i will disconect it if boiler is ok some people must think uhave just come of the banana boat

I started using the CO monitors 6 or 7 years ago. I have a gas fire and I like to snooze in the chair now and again. They are a potential life-saver. Will one be ok for the size of your room? I don`t know the area coverage. At £30 for two for several years I`d be putting two up, spaced out of course. The ones I use have to be replaced after 5 years. The square PP3 9v battery will power it for that duration without the need to change it.

Good point! and the reason I mentioned room size in my first post.
However: the manual says one sensor per level. And gases tend to diffuse quite quickly, so I'm guessing that one sensor in the room with the appliance is enough, but I'm prepared to be corrected?

put the detector near the appliance. they generaly state the height it needs 2 be at on instructions

There are certain locations in a room where they should not be located (which are not obvious ones) so yes it is worth reading through the instructions.
