i prefer the short stroke 350, no 16 on the bike, but they are all beautiful bikes

And just how much of that bike was actually made by Norton? Its no more a manx Norton than a DAX Cobra is an original Shelby Cobra. Its a replica, I still like it and would love to own it but you can't get away from the fact that its a replica not the real thing.

The manx name is owned by andy molnar who is selling the bike in the link. I ordered a couple of hundred quids of stainless fasteners from them for my triumph 500 when i was restoring it. After a few weeks and no sign of the fasteners , i rang them , no response for weeks, finally got through to them and i was informed in a rather snotty way that they had been on holiday's and would be sending my order when they got around to it. Needless to say i will not be doing business with them again.

the guy that does my bike mot's is a big triumph bon fan, he has 3 of them and he has said the same thing after ordering from the guy. He refuses to use him now and makes sure his customers know not to use him too

Andy Molnar is a very blunt man and says what he thinks and this always has two reactions just like marmite however I have never bought from him. There is a fair middling to high chance that those pictures contains my handy work.

Being blunt and downright rude is no way to run a business though, people will not deal with you no matter how good your product. Anyway rich what did you do/make on the manx ?

I usually find when I respond to blunt and downride rude people in a like fashion they change their attitude a bit-but anyway, nice engineering in the bike but for 38k I'd want a genuine Manx with a history.

Yep the gold one is one of the better Italian ones this one has no flashing or left over bits from machining just the normal mis-matched casting in fact even the finish isn't too bad.

Money wise it is steep as you still have to pay for the rim and spokes and maybe the build. The rough finish is a normal sand casting but sharp edges and unfinished parts is not on for the money so long as I remember the next time I get one in I will get a pic of the normal poor quaility of the Minarni hubs.

Not my greatest picture but had two more pairs of the Minarni hubs in this week to build and this shows some of the normal finish they supply them as at least these don't have the flashings just the reminants of the drillings still attached.

that was the going rate at the time i got offered a manx rolling chassis for 100 quid but i couldnt aford it
