Eastern US is five hours behind us, which means if the second coming is at 6pm EST, it'll be 11pm here, and I know it's Saturday, but it's been a long week and i'll probably be in bed, so I'll miss it.

If it's any other American time zone then there's no chance I'll be awake. I'll have to listen to the news on Sunday morning to see how the world ended. Would be a shame to miss it - once in a lifetime thing, after all.

Just thought - if it's 6pm BST, it'll be just as Doctor Who's about to start, and I know which one will have my full attention!

Another doomsday prediction based on diddly squat.

Comet Hale-Bopp was going to cause the end of the world in 1997.

Comet Schumacher-Levy was going to cause the end of the world by crashing into Jupiter.

The world was going to end in 1000 AD and again in 2000AD.

I remember the 70s one.

My grandmother told me there were a couple of these crazes in the 20s and 30s.

What is it makes me think there's that timeless phenomenon, the money making scam, at the bottom of all this?

Well at 6pm the sky darkened & there was a mighty rushing of wind with a painful burning (last nights curry ) I think we must have been transfered to a parallell universe
