I see. Just assumed the engine had been transplanted from a car (I know nuffink about boats other than they either float or sink )

Sort of , all the engines are based on the automotive versions but have bespoke components

Well I pulled the plaster cast off the mannequin today. I had left it a little while near the heater to dry through. It worked perfic. Bit of a result all round and no further excuses admissible really, need to get stuck in now:



The brown is the lotion AKA wax to release the mould and the black charring is just that, charring from my first attempt. Plenty to go at now though so no dithering.

You have got to leave the mannequin in the front garden loosely covered with leaves.
