I have a spare way in my garage consumer unit, and wanted to know if it’s possible to install two 16amp sockets side by side,so the two compressors can run off them.
Yep.I have a spare way in my garage consumer unit, and wanted to know if it’s possible to install two 16amp sockets side by side,so the two compressors can run off them.
You mean just cable and 2 sockets? Why not just hard wire them in, unless they get moved around ?
I mean just cable them into your consumer unit mcbs. You mean just cable and 2 sockets?
There’s only one spare way in cu left, and I have 2 compressors, that’s why I was going down that route.I mean just cable them into your consumer unit mcbs.
I mean just cable them into your consumer unit mcbs.
Wouldn’t you need 16amp mcbs instead?I'd add a mini fuse box then, stick two 20amp mcbs in and wire in direct.
Ignore me, it's the pain killers.Wouldn’t you need 16amp mcbs instead?
Ignore me, it's the pain killers.

Paying money for itSort of but not really - is it free or are you paying money for it?
