Will that work with a HVLP spray gun? Or would I need something more powerful? If so what is a budget option for clear coating/high build primer
I think you’d get about 5 seconds spraying with that compressor. If you plan doing whole car bodies then you’ll probably need something that puts out a genuine 10+ cfm. Unless you buy something secondhand you’ll be looking at a several hundred quid minimum. Will that work with a HVLP spray gun? Or would I need something more powerful? Ye : ) should have specified i just wanted to clear coat 3d printed armour piecesDefinitely not, as advised for a full size help gun you need a big compressor.
With a username of rogaldorn I'm guessing you like warhammer?

3d printed armour/weaponsBudget and hvlp do not go together. Hvlp means around 200L tanks, 16A supplies. What are you considering painting?
Where would one look for a second hand kit? Like just on ebay?I've got an Apollo 1500 HVLP setup. Similar might be worth considering (secondhand ? )rather than a big compressor.
Yes life size, think it'd be a tad overkill otherwise. You could get away with a 100l 2hp compressor that runs about 13cfm to do that and use a small touch up size paint gun.
I'm guessing life size helmets not the model size?

As someone else has posted this, I will say, they are stunning bits of kit. Really quiet and plenty of cfm. Don't run them without the air filters on and RTFM and do the maintenance in the instruction book regularly.https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/cla...nOaSDh1bwP6jIxjc5WUaAiHDEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds would that monstrosity do it?
Aah ok, smaller compressors will be fine3d printed armour/weapons
What's RTFM? I'm not really a diy/tool guy : (As someone else has posted this, I will say, they are stunning bits of kit. Really quiet and plenty of cfm. Don't run them without the air filters on and RTFM and do the maintenance in the instruction book regularly.
Any recommendations on a lvlp gun/compressor? I've never really bought anything like this so im totally cluelessAah ok, smaller compressors will be fine....the need for big capacities come when trying to paint big areas such as the side of a car. Even so you could consider lvlp guns rather than hvlp - still a good finish if you read the reviews before buying and nowhere near as expensive (say £70) as GTi Pro lites for example
