car air dryers

does anyone use an air dryer after washing the car after washing it large blobs of water hang around and leave big rings when dry unless you wipe it down with an absorbent towel or cloth . are they worth buying or are they any good and save time

Current one has never been washed in the two years I have owned it and it still looks ok so must have one of those new fangled polishes on it

Haven't washed my Sorento in 3 years. It's battered and scratched from green lanes, it's got visible welds, lots of green algae growing on it, why would I want to ruin it?

Strangely no one parks near it. Result.

I have one of these short nozzles that have a rubber bumper for my Ego garden blower, takes next to no time to dry the car off.

Other half bought me one for Xmas after I moaned about brakes rusting after washing alloys, she thought I could blow dry them….we later established it was based on a dog drying model.

I only dry my cars using a drying towel, the autofiness ones are awesome.

Everything else will leave swirls and scratches on the paint.

I think if anyone went near one of your s classes with a leaf blower they would leave your property in an ambulance!

I actually do use the leaf blower on them on occasion! It can dry a car in 15- 30 seconds, 1 lap walking around.

Although I also use a large quality microfiber drying towel those work great too and don't scratch the paint. Leather chamois are a thing of the past.

I would like a dedicated cordless car dryer at some point. And / or the special resin water filters that leave no water spotting so no need to dry at all

Some of the pro window cleaners that use the poles have a filter like that to avoid leaving water marks on windows.

For all those that 'proudly' leave all the moss, lichen, bird ****, leaves, fag ash, spilt liquids stale food and drinks etc. on and in their car, to a tech, it shows how much you care for your vehicle - but expect us to give it an annual service and muck-out? I really hope your houses are in a better state.
Some of 'em deserve a tin of pilchards (opened) inside the heater box, but I doubt they'd notice, the skanks.

I wash my cars using tap water in the bucket, but rinse off with cans of water from water butt. No marks.
