Hi lads,
I have just threat myself with welding/cutting torch BOC cuttoxege type4, I bought it in second hand and the guy told me it was not used for the last 8 years.
And now I am happy like a pony with purchase but I am wondering if I should maintain it before using it? Changing rubber, gasket?
I never had my own setup, so I am like a kid on christmas day. I hope I did not make mistake by buying it.
Otherwise I also got with the torch 2 regulator both are quite old 8 years.
One is oxygene at 300 bar and this other I suppose is acetylene as nothing is written on it going up to 300 bar.
Both of them have the dial gauge damaged, but I am wondering if they are still usable or if I can change only the gauge, or if I have better of buy new regulator?
I have a last question about the hose, on this web site (here) I can see that there are 2 types of hose 8 mn or 10 mn.
What difference does it make the size of the hose?
Cheers
Thanks a lot for you help.
