I currently have an R-Tech Welding 250A, but when working with beams or agricultural machinery, I find it a bit underpowered. At maximum output, I can't increase the wire speed beyond 5 because it can't properly melt the base metal and wire. This makes welding speed quite slow for these jobs.
In other companies, I've welded with 350A three-phase machines, and beams weld well with high wire feed speed, ensuring good penetration and faster work.
The problem is that my workshop and my 14kW generator are both single-phase, so I'm looking at an Oxford 300A or 350A machine or the single-phase Warrior 350A. Which one do you think is better?
Another issue is that I'm in Spain, and I see they don't ship here. With the R-Tech, I had no problems.
