Just stick to warranty service schedules youll be fine, if it breaks its their problem. Im inclined to agree hybrid is normal everyday business forToyota nothing new, and makes complete sense to meAnyone had involvement with these? But suspicious of mfr claims? Sounds a bit like a spruce up regeneration? Straight pet/diesel finished?
Im driving an old Corrola, 2003 1.4, Looked up the prices & good ones are going for the same money i paid for this one 8 years ago. It just keeps on going.nah....but get an older Toyota if u can.....
Just bought my daughter a 2004, 1 owner 30,000, 1.6 petrol Corolla (no advantage of a D in UK) it runs like a Swiss watch....
Plus she has a 1992, 2.6 petrol Hi-Ace camper, 400,000klms. In Perth (no rust)....
the old ones are best....
I had a Yaris Cross hybrid as a hire car for 2 weeks in Cyprus last year, I really liked it, to the extent I booked it again for this year. The wife has a 2 year old Yaris Cross (hybrid), she's had it 2 weeks and I've driven it 3 times. Very impressed with how the system works.
You should be ashamed of your self for owning such a useful vehicleI'd like to see the EV that can do everything this Surf can!

A good practical vehicleI'd like to see the EV that can do everything this Surf can!
In general (so not Yaris specific) but i think the "full" hybrids are mostly similar...when the car is decelerating they recover energy and recycle it into a battery and then use it via electric motors to accelerate.Self charging-technical details?
And this snippet of "Wisdom" helps the OP how ?Petrol/diesel transportation has a limited life span. If one can charge at home, buy a good used EV. Burning fossil fuels in cars is both anti-social and anti climate change.
Yes true but I don't think there's an EV vehicle available this size to buy even if I was rich and daft enough to buy one.A good practical vehicle.....but I don't think that's an ev vs i.c.e. argument, that's just a size/type of vehicle argument. I've had bags of sand /cement and all sorts of stuff in my boxster, it's just that you can fit more in
