I want to identify this vehicle tail light, it is RH side, Europe.

There is no story to go with this. I feel I recognise the shape but I cannot place it, likely to be French. I used Google lens and every unit bar this came up, it would help if it was complete but that is another story. I know it is RHS because of course the reversing lens is on the right.

Neighbour said he would ask, radio silence since, he knows, never put him down as a c***t but now I now he is. I will visit the police station this week, I don't expect anything to come from it but he and visitor need to know I am not amused.

A walk around the neighborhood and check all the cars for a broken tail light.

The "optics" pattern in the plastic moulding comes from quite an old vehicle, at a guess, and also likely to be arranged horizontally, as in the original image.

How high off the ground was the impact point?

I have just looked at SiLs Ford Focus Mk2 on our drive. Its not that. Doesn't look like a Vivaro either, they are more parallel ISTR.

If there is also window glass, its got to be something with lights on the rear pillars.

My money would be on an estate 2000-2008ish.

Thought is was the Citroen dispatch of the 2007 onwards era but having a look on google confirms it isn't.

If it's on something with only a single reverse lamp, then chances are it's something with a single fog lamp, which means the reverse lamp would be on the NS, as a single fog lamp has to legally be on the OS (or at least somewhere between the centre line, and OS).

I'm thinking something Japanese, as I can't think of any European make using that style of lens.
