This popped up on Youtube. I watched it because I knew the people involved and people who worked there as its just down the road from where I work.
Its so interesting though as the gentleman who is in it developed artificial hips and knees. I recommend you watch it.

His name was Oscar Johnson, a master machinist I learned a few tricks from. He was the man who developed the artificial arm for amputees around the time of WW2. It was his own private personal project, but because he was working and using the company machinery, even though on his own time, they claimed the credit, and he never received the recognition he deserved.
