Old news, some one has recently bought it! For a lot less. They blamed the givernment for not giving them the 100 mil I think it was, but they didnt seem to have any other investors prepared to stump up the money, and ha£ not met the set criteria to get government hand out!

Don’t see why I should give them £100M, if people want to buy dc cars they should pay for them, they get free road tax as it is...

If the uk was the correct location for a battery manufacturer to open a factory, then don’t you think LG, Samsung, CATL etc would already have a factory here?

Something really fishy about this failed venture…

Thats just 5 mins along the road from me. I was talking to a lad who was on the ground works there. They all walked off the job a few months back when they didnt get paid. The writing was on the wall then.
Its the site of the old Blyth power station.
