Allen key recommendations

I am a complete nightmare when it comes to Allen keys. I rarely return keys to the holder and the metric and imperial keys get mixed up. It doesn't help that some keys are marked with sizes and others aren't.

Can someone recommend a set of keys (imperial and metric) that are affordable and reasonable quality, but not top end. I've not had t-handle keys before, but that might be an option to consider.

Wera have bright coloured sleeves making them harder to misplace. You can remove the sleeves too. Not sure on imperial

Bahco cheaper and just as good quality.

Paint a coloured ring around to differentiate between the two.

we get through a few of these a year,,, cheap enough to be consumables and the keys dont break... people dont put them away

Wera Hex plus ones are pretty good, but for mid-range affordable Bondhus is hard to beat.

I have the Wera stainless set, round shafts so a bit more comfortable in the hand, I've been very happy with them. They're about 25 quid on Amazon.

I wouldn't bother with T handles if it's your only set.

I got a set from amazon which so far have been great...the metric/imperial are 2 different colours + the sizes are printed on the side for the larger keys...it's so annoying when they all get muddled up...in the end I found a set which are painted...it's impossible to sort out the unpainted ones once they get muddled I find!

I've had them couple of years and so far they've been good but I only use them occasionally.

Bondhaus ,, all I buy , ,not the dearest , but as good as any , and they are not that expensive that your scared to use them , or cut a bit off etc etc ,,, I keep looking at stainless steel ones and all sorts of fancy stuff ,,, but I still just buy Bondhaus .
