It’s a company car, not my problem to sort out any of thisReset - MAP the adblue Euro system out (break the law everytime you use the car!).
But it will work and run again if you do!

KTM have started something like this, not nearly as bad but maybe just testing the waters. What they are doing is giving you all the modes and quick shifter for 1,000 miles and then some modes and the quick shifter get disabled unless you go to your dealer and buy them. No subscription though , well not yet, so not as bad but basically it is a way to sell the bike for a bit less than the competition then when you have used the stuff and it gets disabled you will most likely want it back so have to pay and thus end up paying more than the competition.

The scary bit is if you've paid up and have all the toys and some spotty yoof at the dealer punches in the wrong number to the computer and it all stops working. You then have to jump through unnecessary hoops to get your stuff back. 3rd party remote access to your stuff is a bad thing. Great for anti-theft, but nowt else.

Northampton Audi had 17 cars in the compound with the same fault, I feel sorry for private individuals who have shelled out thier own money / finance on a car, only for it to be unusable for 3 months

When working for Big H we always thought that "back Order" actually meant that the factory had just planted the sapling that they would build the box with to send the part to UK in.

Apparently this ad Blue control module fault is common across a lot of makes
When I called the AA, they just sent a recovery truck and took my car to the garage, didn’t even bother with a patrol once they were aware of the fault

The NOX sensors are are on "back order" - 30days plus.
I got one Audi in the yard with the same problem!

It’s bloody criminal if you ask me, other than this fairly major problem the car is beautiful to drive and well appointed, and for me very economical, 73 mpg cruising at 66 mph

Had the A5 sportsback before current company car, lucky not to have any ad blu issues, lovely car but went through brake disks like no other car I've had.
A feature I would pay to have disabled on current comp car is the speed limiter!

The whole thing about the subscription features is a non story in reality. Well for the first owner anyway.
When you buy a new car, you go through a tick list of additional features that you want . These cost money.
What they are offering you ( if you keep the car for say 3 years) is actually a cheaper alternative. For example , want heated seats ? Either buy the feature outright or just pay the subscription in the colder months.
Many pay for sat nav , then use Apple play etc for navigation
When you come to sell the car / hand it back then it’s going to be worth more/ less depending on how much is on subscription or payed for outright.
I could see a main dealer resetting everything on a second hand car to fleece some more out of next buyer though

New car for the wife last week. On top of the cruise control has a manual limiter. Leave it set to 30 and stops me drifting. (Though I'm normally pretty good without it.)
Vans limited to 70. Can't say it bothers me
