Turned the pc on last night to find I am getting loads of pop-ups for security/spy wear programs.
I all ready use virgin meada own security + windows and spy bot got rid off all of them but im still left with 1 (spycrush) cant get rid off it at all and it keeps say I have backdoor Trojan and to get rid I have to sign up any ideas on how I can remove it

Spycrush is a rogue anti-spyware program that actually infects, not cleans. Try downloading adaware from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ and run it alongside spybot. In my experience, spybot couldn't find things that adaware could and vice-versa. 'Hijack this' http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/programs.php might do it as well, it's another cleaner that is well reviewed. Download an updated hosts file from http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm and install it as per instructions, this will stop most generic popup ads appearing when you're browsing as it fools the ad into connecting to your computer, not the ad site. Make sure you run adaware and spybot regularly and above all KEEP THEM UPDATED!

ps Murex400, what browser are you using? Firefox, for instance, is great at blocking (most) popups when i'm, er "browsing" lol

(I stick to welders porn. Far more exciting, all those pics of scantily dressed welding sets. Oooh)

Adaware do a free home version http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php or if you've got some search savvy, you 'may' come across a full version for free This uses the same method as rusty's suggestion but is from a different forum http://forums.techguy.org/security/583833-removal-spycrush.html

Most if not all messages like that will be stopped if you have a firewall and set your ActiveX controls properly. If you have a Trojan I would be careful of using your credit card for online shopping as the trojan is probably a key stroke logger and will report you CC numbers back through your own connection to the scum.

Zonealarm is a good free firewall, and AVG has a spyware virus solution for free.

Get a decent firewall to stop the tojan sending your key strokes back through your connection, windows firewall on XP SP2 is a very worn out coffee filter

AVG Free Antivirus
Sygate Firewall Pro (much better than zonealarm)
Ad-Aware but also running the ad-watch utility (which is bloody good) *still running the 1.06 version, it still updates to the newest pattern updates but its much less bloated*
and definately using firefox is a good move to make in respect to this.

on top of whats been mentioned above my prother is a it tecnision and makes alot of cash clearing crap off peoples computers,

He installed firefox,lavasoft ad-aware personal se,spybot seartch and destroy and cccleaner on top of norten and Iv'e never had any problems...

MSN and myspace are clear invitations to viruses,trojans and all that crap......

Executing things like keygens are invitations for viruses and trojans.

Not using ActiveX controls properly is an invitation for spyware and adware plus programs bundled with it.
