The new oil tank base is nearly done. Just got to finish laying the slabs tomorrow.
The tank going on is a round 3500l bunded job.
How perfectly flat does the base need to be? Laying the spirit level on across the two rows of slabs i have laid so far (only one row shown in the bottom pic) there is a little variation 1-2mm under the spirit level at the joins. Will this be ok? Its pretty level. Should I chuck some sand on the slabs before placing the tank to take up any imperfections or will it be fine with some minor imperfections?
(I dont know if the base of the tank is totally flat or if it has contact points)
