Is that a night bloomer ?
When I was young, there was a sad looking snake like cactus by our house which never seemed to grow; but every few years a pod would appear and a flower bloom in the night, which started to wilt at daylight. It was absolutely beautiful.

Yeah, opened in a day, the most alien flower pods you ever did see and they opened in real time. They looked like this just before they opened:

Yeah, I remember my parents and I stayed up during the night to watch it open up, and we could actually see the petals moving.

I continue to bring the tool chest / workbench of the turner into an acceptable form. The tabletop was barbarously mutilated and bent. A little leveled with a flame and a hammer. I welded a sheet of 3 mm steel on top, on welding rivets.

I like that, what sort of size gate do you think it would take?

Installed the main steelwork for a handy little 2t crane today.
Finish off by putting the cable festoon track, hoist etc on tomorrow, and sort the lights.

I measured it up a few weeks ago and had it fabricated at my previous employers as that's more their line of work. Everyone seemed to be making a fuss about how much of a job it would be for some reason.
Easy little number if you ask me.

Don’t know,I’m hanging just a 2m long,1m high one from it,so it’s structurally overkill,mainly it’s for style.
