Dog cage ideas

We have a small dog and have been offered another by the breeder.
If the two get along its looking like we will have her so I need to have two cages in the boot but I need them stacked one on top of the other so any ideas? Cant see much on line unless I pay £500+!
I thought about making one but just cant think of a good design? Or possibly one is available I haven't seen?

if got a hatchback just buy normal slim cages

as thats what the neighbour uses when he goes to large shows

But with this design I have no room for the Inlaws Mobility scooter, I need to keep one side of the boot clear for it

havent got anything proper to add for the op other than say a crib a user posting options

Look on facebook market place in the working dogs groups, cages often come up

Dandies are small size wise imagine a westie but the length of a sausage dog, the new one is very small for a Dandie, I will post a pic later.
I do fancy the stacking option just need inspiration and I often find it here

Sorry @gaz1 I’m going to have to dispute that one for the following reasons

Can't you just put them together. We have two dogs of different ages and I think seperating them would cause more problems between them. They have to get on at some point. And if you are worried about the space they have. Give them a whole boot and you will find them curled up on top of each other. But to maximise space a travail dog guard and divider will give 30%more room than a crate

I've made a fair few lots of different ways to do them, steel ones are too heavy to lift in and out, and I don't like the lack of air movement through some of the plastic ones

Most of the ones I made where for working dogs all made to order, the price of material has pushed me out of the market, 2mm 8x4 chequer plate when I started making them was £56 its now around 120, there's one I made in the pictures that had to go on a quad, had to look like a tool box, and also if the police where to open the back door of the van the dogs wouldn't be noticible unless lifted out, they can get badly marked I prefer to make the compartments on the small side, biggest reason being if there's an accident they don't get rattled around as much and, they are only for going from a-b, when making multiple carriers I try and make one with a removable divide, one was requested with carry handles to outside as I was told the dog itself would take your fingers off
