The triumph Spitfire and Herald were the last mass-produced British cars with seperate body and chassis.
The Mini is a monocoque with subfames and not seperate body/ chassis.

The Aero 8 is a great looking car, and the coupe version is fantastic!!
Granted, maybe wood shouldnt be used in a car chassis, and it did take 'a few yaers' for morgan to design something without wood in it, but there really is something about the way they look.
And with a 4.8L BMW engine as well, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

Oh, i almost forgot. The Morris Minor commercial vehicles all had a seperate chassis- i.e. the vans and pick ups, wheras the saloon, convertible and traveller were all monocoque. Must be the only car where you could get both monocoque and chassis versions at the same time.

Why the question? Are you looking for a project?
As has been said most of the mass produced Brit cars moved from separate chassis to a basic monocoque by the end of the 1950s (saloons) or early '60s (sports cars). Triumph kept on going with a separate chassis, but the bodies were also a bit structural. Land Rover kept up with non structural bodies sitting on a substantial chassis until... is the Deafener still in production?
Anything plastic bodied will have a separate chassis (with the excepion of the '60s Lotus Elite and Rochdale Olympic).
Some European cars went through a transition phase and used a floorpan chassis (separate chassis that incorporated the floor. Can't think of any Brit cars that used that system). VW Beetle, 2CV and Renault 4 are examples. Floorpan chassis mostly went out in the early 1970s, but many modern supercars still use this form of construction. Those supercars will tend to use aluminium or carbon fibre chassis.

If your looking for a fairly modern vehicle I seem to think a P100 ??? (TATA or Ford pickup ??? ) has a chassis that you can add differing bodies on ..not sure how much of the cab though.

No , sorry , they are pants !! The Aero 8 is better than the rest but still horrible !! I used to supply a Morgan specialist years ago with braided brake hoses and oil cooler lines , so I was always seeing the things in detail when dismantled , they are truly gruesome !! The things need stripping and rebuilding every 3-5 years to stop them falling apart !!
