What it says in the title. Found it while clearing a pile of junk from a tv cabinet before I replaced it. Clearly very well made too. Oh, and my wife had to tell me what it is!

Nice try, but it's in millimeters, not pounds feet! For wives to calibrate the torque applied to your their husband's ears.
Nope. Not even close! Although it does look a bit prop shaft like, what with the UJ's on the ends.prop shaft of a model racing car........
Nope.Flat screen TV prop, tilt spacer adjustment thingie? (technical term.)
Bingo! It's correct name is "medium strut for Taylor spatial frame". Years ago my wife had to have her leg broken then a cage on it, which looks weird what with screws going into your leg, then you give the rack, I mean the adjusters a turn every day. There are two left over and I'm trying to figure out how I could use them in something cool!My guess is it is part of the apparatus/calliper for stretching a damaged limb back to correct length.
I've no idea? Unless you tell me what you're thinking of course. No wait, hold on I'm getting something... I'm getting a...no, it's gone! Not what I think it is ? is it
I can imagine. Mrs had it on for months, but it was a long time ago and history now.@julianthegypsy
