I buy big packs of thick bacon from Costco.Re the Tesco's bacon, the correct answer is to use a proper butcher and get slices straight off the "lump" (don't know what it's called). Usually cheaper and much tastier.
I agree, they are carp, but it was what was considered good chocolate overseas when I was a kid. Needless to say, the Hershey company never got another nickel out of my allowance.Someone once gave me a Hershey bar, without doubt one of the nastiest things I've ever put in my mouth, it tasted like something you'd already eaten some time earlier......
Hershey’s kisses were highly rated by many (polka dots in the UK) but definitely not to my taste. Even M&Ms don’t taste the same in the US. No idea why.I agree, they are carp, but it was what was considered good chocolate overseas when I was a kid. Needless to say, the Hershey company never got another nickel out of my allowance.
Yes I work for cadburys and it really depends on what cadburys chocolate you eat on how good of quality it is, what I will say is im pretty sure all dairy milk is now being made it the uk again. As for quality we also make hot chocolate and per 100tonnes 75tonnes is sugar, I've been told legaly or something it has to be 26 percent cocoa and im pretty sure it is 27 . Also its mondelez now and they make a hell of a lot more than just cadburyd chocolate@Jacktegla is the man to ask think he makes the stuff

Think they're called pigs.Re the Tesco's bacon, the correct answer is to use a proper butcher and get slices straight off the "lump" (don't know what it's called). Usually cheaper and much tastier.
I tried a Twinkie one time when in the US - NEVER againSomeone once gave me a Hershey bar, without doubt one of the nastiest things I've ever put in my mouth, it tasted like something you'd already eaten some time earlier......
Had some of this anti melt chocolate in auzI'm told the reason US chocolate like Hershey's tastes rank (to us) is that they use a recipe that stops it melting so quickly. Otherwise stores in hot states would have to refrigerate it.
Had some After Eights last week. The little envelope is the same size .... the actual chocolate is tiny.
I don't really eat crisps but last time I had some from a multi pack there were about 8 in there.
Think they're called pigs.
I had to go over by the chocolate factory today, I had to stick my head incame out with 6kg of chocolate chunks.

Speaking of Suchard, their Rocher are miles better than the well known ferrero version, but I've only ever seen them in France. We deliver milk into cadburys Marlbrook (Leominster ) ,
They don't accept milk with high butterfat content ( e.g. Jersey cow milk (gold top) so. None e of that gets sent there. I've had a tanker load rejected because it was just over .....
So just bog standard milk
Personally I like milka alpine chocolate ,I think it's calledyou don't see often tho ,
As for hot choclate has to be suchard , but I've never seen it in the uk .

Avid there chocolate![]()
It's interesting that asking for hot chocolate in France is not chocolate chaud as you might expect, but "Suchard".Speaking of Suchard, their Rocher are miles better than the well known ferrero version, but I've only ever seen them in France.
