There's several things I can't understand, the members were really taking the mickey but he didn't seem to care, he's either lying about burns and arch eye or he's got a very high tolerance to pain.

its the pictures that got me, he seemed to go to a lot of effort to make action photo's, which is just ridiculous and dangerous if he did it on his own.

Did he not get any advice at all from oucle paul? or do you think o.p. is as good a welder and as safety conscious as his nifew? Or maybe oucle is now blind and didn't see the 'duff' welder being borrowed.

I hope he reads some of the advice on here..but joining? don't you think trying to help him would be a bit like
