Cash and carry had dented 25l cans of sunflower oil for £20 bargain.
Aha, yes, I thought I saw your real name on that FB veg. group yesterday.
Which I've now left - as just too many SVO idiots on there!
I got some very strange looks pouring 2l bottles into my ssangyong's fuel tank in morrisions car park.i just stuck 20L of veg oil and 2L of petrol in mine ready for tomorrow if I pass a garage with no q's and derv I will fill up if not Ill stick some more veg in
Not too rub it in but seems alright round my area and was in edinbrugh tonight a few cars in petrol stations but nothing out of the ordinary and at about 138 to 135 for unleaded so maybe higher population down south affects something
Not sure if its just me or the same for the other Scottish members
The Morrisons in Fort William had a long queue when I passed last Friday, no queues at any of the other fuel places in FW though.
I can't work out who's panic buying, everyone who's said they bought fuel absolutely needed it for reasons.
As I said in an earlier post, media and the idiot who started this should be fined for this
Just purchased at the fuel station with your £10.50 top upI was looking out the bathroom window laughing at all the panic buyers at the local garage and suddenly 30 packs of toilet rolls landed on my head from a shelf above.
Easy fix that required no forward planning or long term strategy. And what's the government done ?
Johnny foreigner can now come over and solve our problems till Christmas eve ?
If you can walk away then it's a good landing.I’d say in that situation it’s more about the take off
