Does anyone with more knowledge of the industry than me (most people!) have any guesses as to when timber prices might start to come down again (if, indeed they do)? I have a few projects that are not urgent and hence can wait if prices are potentially going to drop, but I was just wondering what the predictions on here were.
Just looking at some 4.8m lengths of 2x2 on the Travis Perkins site and its 75% more expensive now than last year - paid £9 a length last year and now its £16ish
