Brain fart,
i use a sr9 torch for all my tig , and of course a overheat the **** out if it , resulting in twisted bend collets .
i found brass works much better , and wondered why these are made out of copper, resulting in endless buying and dumping them.
the current actually goes from the collet body , over the small distance ( 1mm ) of the clamping collet ring to the needle.
a collet out of steel should last forever and the higher resistance is negledable.
Just my thought seeing the prezelt up collet today .
