Im not sure what a flame war is.........assuming its an argument.....it hasnt has it.......except you.........not everyone likes what you like so you need to accept that........But your comment was going to start a flame war. My comment was just to highlight the point as nicely as I could.
Saving the mods some work.
I’m no expert but merc had the first pit box. If LH came in and everyone else followed he would have to wait for all to leave pits before he could be releasedIt was surreal.
Odds would not be that high. Those bookies don't give much away.
GR called it from the track ..I really would like to know what swayed Lewis action...apart from being first round?
Same as me. I have many vices but I don’t know the first thing about placing a bet with a bookie. No idea, but I can guarantee if I had placed a bet it would never have happened.
Not necessarily, as long as he is released safely I think he could go when ready and to the pit Lane exit, but not sure how they would decide when to turn the pit exit light to green as that is normally after the last car on the grid has gone past.I’m no expert but merc had the first pit box. Yeah that sounds feasible. Especially with ocon second.I’m no expert but merc had the first pit box. If LH came in and everyone else followed he would have to wait for all to leave pits before he could be released
I think @Bullet2012 means once in his pitbox the whole field was nose to tail with no gap for the team to get Hamilton out into the pitlane. Not necessarily, as long as he is released safely I think he could go when ready and to the pit Lane exit, but not sure how they would decide when to turn the pit exit light to green as that is normally after the last car on the grid has gone past.
They do it on rotation. It’s fun for the first year but then it gets monotonousYear off? Working at the factory rather than travelling the world, suppose it would be nice and exciting initially but not great for anyone with family.
It’s good fun for a few years. It took me 26 years to stop the traveling round the world for workNot sure I'd like to follow that circus every year.
They still have a full appeal to go yet...Aston Martins disqualification stands

That's the way I read it as well. Shame but if he had a puncture he would have lost second place and that would also be a shame. But they need to work out what the rule is intended to do and if it fulfilled that purpose. It’s not entirely clear to me in that article but it seems the rule says (paraphrased) “it matters not what the reason is - if you can’t pull a litre you’re disqualified”. So it would seem no matter what they come up with they’re toast. Unless the “leak” was after they extracted the fuel and they spilt it ??
