The angle clamps feel quite solid, def. worth it for £15. Banbury only had one in stock, luckily MK had one too

yeah they are a heavy old piece of kit defeinitely more solid than i imagined. It also pivots so will allow you to clamp different sizes of things together

Yeah my mate bought 3 and i had to get one from Wakefield, luckily his mate was going up there so picked it up for me.

I've just spent a load on their ratchet spanners as well as they're good quality and they've got some good bargains on at the moment !!

Collecting mine today on the way home, I hope. I bought one of these at full price a few years ago and always thought it would be great to have a few more but not great enough to pay £50 a piece.

They really are a useful piece of kit.

I saw the parts washers at £25 a while ago and didn't realise they were reduced but thought it was a good price and that I would pop in some day and get one. I never did. Pity. Even at £25 they were good value.

The thing is, they were still advertised at 49.99 not the reduced price of 34.99

Halfords do occasionally do some real knock down prices, I got a 12V dirtworker pressure washer last year for £25 instead of £89 that they were

3 more to go with my original one. I had reservations about how well the online reservation would turn out once I'd get to the store but the young lad I spoke to knew exactly what I was after and picked them up from the back of the shop with a reservation note taped to them.

Now, what can I use them for first?

Just got 2 of the S.I.P.clamps from my local store and have 2 more coming to be picked up on Monday, Local store still had 2 of them on the shelf at £49-99 each,so got them to check the price and, Yes the check-out computer had them listed as "obsolete" at £15-00 each.

P.S, Just had a little google search and found some welding suppliers are selling this same S.I.P. Item for £67-00 each, How on earth do they arrive at these prices, I,m quite sure Halfords won,t be making a loss even at £15-00,

I've just this week bought:
parts washer - £10
air rachet - £10
bench grinder - £10
drill vice - £5
spot airblaster - £10
SaNav units - 2 @ £20 each [one was duff, so got it swopped for a Navigon unit priced in sale @ £50 [result]

Quite a haul, I did have the £10 compressor reserved too but that went tits up, none in stock

edit: p.s. forgot the air chisel set @ £10 too

There are three more in the area, I already have a German branded one... how many square frames will I ever make...?

The SIP one is of 'that'll do' construction, I see.

No air ratchets anywhere near me, missed the £20 satnav as well

Edit: ah soddit, just bought two more clamps to clean out all my local shops
With luck I can slip them onto my expenses and charge them to a client...
