Got a Pug Partner, New, if thé doors not properly shut, you can't pull away.

Hâte it, tells you when to change gears, then it's gutless, arrgghhh.

Those vans are hideously complicated and generally awkward to work on. Replaced both turbos on a biturbo one a while ago:

My A6 and Sprinter are both biturbo and thankfully much easier to work on.

Got a Pug Partner, New, if thé doors not properly shut, you can't pull away.

Hâte it, tells you when to change gears, then it's gutless, arrgghhh.

Not gonna lie, i love my electric handbrake. (And all the gadgetry on the A6.)

The Sprinter has a mechanical handbrake but has the best hill assist of anything i've ever driven. It holds the rear brakes via the ABS but it's barely noticeable and works perfectly.

Sprinter tells me when to change gear and i hate that too. Especially running at 7,000kg with the trailer up a hill. A6 changes gear itself.

You don't need to wait 15 years. Renault Trafics break down in the brochure.

Get a MK IV Golf 1.9 TDI. Either with a rotary pump or PD, it'll last forever.

What makes you think they will last that long?

They fall apart quite rapidly!

Was it fitted with those 'orrible star shaped, spline cross fixings?

If so, I feel for you.

Yep, they're not my favourite to work on.

My biggest gripe is a big bonnet and a tiny opening to work on the engine through:

The turbos on this weren't that bad, the worst part was removing and refitting all the various heatshields around them.

Then it tells you what gear you are in AFTER you drop the clutch. How did we manage before all this crap was foisted on us?
