Regular industrial Loctite is the worst thing possible for a wound, especially if the wound is dirty. When it develops an infection, there's nowhere for it to go. Look up "sepsis" because if you don't tend to a wound correctly or worse still, attend to it badly, it could cost you a limb.Loctite and masking tape !
Why?I know how that feels, I put mine in a flypress, had to have it surgically repaired and some of the bone removed, well worth going to A&E to get it x rayed and cleaned up properly.

Best keep it out of fly presses, car door is bad enoughThis was two weeks after surgery, the nail was removed, nail bed repaired and the nail temporarily glued / sewn back on as a splint, what you cant see is the cut down the pad of the thumb where they removed the shattered bone, it looks quite normal now but the nerves are damaged and its quite numb most of the time but sometimes for some reason is quite uncomfortable.
