Tesa is one of the manufacturers I put on par or probably above Mitutoyo, lovely stuff, have some of their bore Mic's and rate them very highly.Tesa Tesamaster 25-50mm 1um resolution

I've been resisting the urge to get a 25mm quantumike for ages now, I'm gonna break soon.Digitals from 0-75
A light oil on them would stop the rusting but the paper and silica should do the same.Digressing very slightly...
My workshops have never been bone dry.
I've recently bought a roll of VCI paper, vapour corrosion inhibitor, which I've started wrapping 'precious' tools in. I found a biggish wooden box to put all my measuring gear in.
Any advice, yep, I've got silica sachets too.
Lovely things, I take bad when I use the 50-75 ones, they are so slowI've been resisting the urge to get a 25mm quantumike for ages now, I'm gonna break soon.
I like them all, many thanks.A lot of mine have been seen in the for sale section but I've still got a few. A couple of Mitutoyo's and some M&W's and a box set of no-names 0-25 up to 150mm. The trouble with wooden boxes is that they absorb moisture, I use the snap lid food containers, waterproof and air tight, a quick wipe over with some light oil and seal in the box. Glad you liked the Starrett Mat.
