no deffinatly angled I remember they only go into the gun one way

They were the correct pins, I wish it was so simple lol, these pins made their own exit hole in the magazine!

are the pins straight or angled... there are 2 versions of this nailer , the IM65 (straight nail strip) and IM65A which uses an angled strip

If you want a straight one I have one that I could swap with you...I've been meaning to swap it for an angled one but not got round to it

it does look like that in the picture but they are deffinatly angled pins I shot a load into a tree and they worked fine

ive got this type a second fix more like a first fix

its just been bought a new battery for it this week

it is and still on its original 2 prong charger and i had to buy a 110v transformer adapter

its in realy good condition as well and ive had a few comments about the gun been so clean

the battery has been droped a few times on the floor even from a height

cant beat the old ones less carp to go wrong!

Yes I've got one of them as well but it doesn't like hardwood...need to have a look at it some time

its not the gun as well

not even the electric ones will fire into hardwood that good

ive even had 90mm nail half way into 4x2 5x2s because the woods that hard then to be finished off by a hammer

they are indeed I wonder if that was because of the jab or I inserted the strip wrong, I have to check now when I get home the brads are deffinatly angled maybe I put them in wrong

a pointer for you its called nail gun bounce

your pushing against the wood you fire the gun I know to hold that gun well when firing as you will

but the nail gun bounces away from the wood leaving the nail proud

I borrowed a nail gun in scotland and you can see what happens when it does it through these pics if you download them and zoom in on the 2nd pic

I had to splt the roof trusses from the other builder to level the roof properly then to secure it again

Yes I see what you mean. So do the electric ones work better then? I've had an eye on the DeWalt twin pack for a while and that could be an excuse to splash out
