Things to keep you busy over the festive period...

I haven't got the complete holiday period off as I'm working in between Christmas & New Year

But I do have a few extra days to do some work on my van as it needs some tlc. But also I think I might get adventurous in the Kitchen & cook some onion Bhaji's & some Southern Fried Chicken

What's everyone else's plans?

Eating & drinking plenty will also be on the menu

Got a sickly Range Rover to get fired into. Daughters car needs a wee bit tlc. Eat some food, probably more than i should . A bit of golf, a few winter league games to catch up.

The couriers reckon my towbar should be here on the 24th so I might be fitting that. Otherwise the usual tidying and pootling.

Got a rebuilt engine to test out on the dyno and some various other projects like my research into buying a new welder for an exhaust modification amongst other bits and pieces needing doing.

I've kept something to do this week
I have to replace the air filter on my car .
I have to make few parts for a truck.
Install fake cameras .
Try to teach me my sister to use her car (she can't do a parking)
I'll probably die trying

Plenty of relaxing in front of the telly with a glass of single malt to hand.
A day out birdwatching at the local nature reserve.
Make a start on the custom roof rack for the van.
Spend time cooking as I find it very therapeutic.
Sort through my dive kit.
Investigate next year's big trips, covid permitting.
Pamper my OH. She's been the proverbial rock this year so she deserves being looked after.

Just been to the little Asian shop in the nearest big town and stocked up on spices etc, got my flour from the mill today as well. just me and swmbo this year so lots of spicy foods and bread making. Working up to and during to alleviate the boredom. maybe a bit of drone flying and paddle boarding on the new year weekend. Hangover dependant of course.

Im now having to work up until Christmas eve, dealing with an incident on a site. My boy is with us over Christmas so will be pc building and enjoying down time, when he goes back to mums I will be eating and drinking more

Wearing earplugs. 6yo requested an electric guitar.

Lock the doors. Play with the kids.
Do some woodwork with Rowan he's requested a mallet to use with his chisels.

Might even get to complete the half life series now I've finished portal 1+2. (Something I've never managed to do.)

Given what’s going over there (and here) just the two of us here for Christmas.

If the parts I’ve ordered get here I’ll be doing some sound and heat insulation to the floor and transmission tunnel on the Morgan, and finishing off the brakes - have fitted new rear cylinders and shoes, waiting on hoses now. Also workshop doors to finish (waiting parts!), and a porch for a neighbour.

Mum's got a list of jobs lined up for me. Off the top of my head; pressure wash an oil leak off the patio, creosote the shed floor, fix (Replace) a couple of PIR lights, plane a sticking door, probably more.

Hopefully do some running and cycling too, no hills to slow me down around here so should set some new PRs.
