When the back end on a ten year old range rover looks like this , KERR is like looking for a gas leak with a lighter.
I think you've made your point TBH.
Have I wandered into the offroading equivalent of 'You need a gassafe engineer to turn your gas oven on and off'?
Spooky ,,, I still never step over a draw bar ,,, thats stuck with me a life time , or stand under a suspended load. No, you just need to know what you are doing. (And know where to stand!)
Just as having spent some time down a mine with rope haulage I NEVER step over any rope lying on the ground unless I can see both ends at the same time! Or an electrician NEVER assumes it's not live unless they have checked it themselves - with a meter even though it's switched off.
i used to go gliding at carlton bank. the winch was at one end of the moor and we pulled the steel line over the moor to other end with the tractor about quarter of a mile .hooked it to the glider and had a guy stand up at highest point and be the signaler with a bat i was sat next to the old guy once and he signaled up slack and was going for all out i grabbed the bat of him as they was some walkers walking across the middle of moor near the wire . the blind old git didnt see them that would have been nice getting decapitated with a ton of wire lashing across you . dont bear thinking aboutNo, you just need to know what you are doing. Yes to both!
I've got lots of sympathy for couriers and delivery drivers and I think it unreasonable, coldhearted even, to refer to them as idiots for needing to have so much faith in their sat navs.
We're all reliant on them these days, especially under current circumstances!
Starting to think we may have had the same instructors , certainly the same company.Yes to both!
Thats how grandfather used to do it and he worked for the gas board most of his life :-)looking for a gas leak with a lighter.

Is there a punchline to this?
