I've been buying this for a while instead of WD40 & I've never seen it cheaper!

To get free delivery I've just bought 9 cans

They're 600ml also!

That sure is cheap,.....do you get a straw on the side of the can too? This contains PTFE so isn't it more like GT85 rather than WD40 I'm thinking.

Yeah a straw normally comes with it!

Not sure about the whole WD40/GT85 situation

But it does the job for me

keep an eye in Tesco (of all places) they often drop their big cans of wd40 to half price (£2.50) or at least mine does. whenever they do I pickup half a dozen.

I got bored of aerosols that never last long enough, so I went with 5 litres WD40 and a spray can. Cheap enough to coat everything liberally in it, like my press brake tooling and pinch rolls etc.

Works out around the same price as the 600ml triple QX stuff, to be fair lol

I keep plusgas in aerosols though, nothing can beat plusgas as a penetrating fluid.

Used to be able to get 5l WD40 + trigger sprayer for £20 at Zoro with 20% off voucher. Unfortunately now they seem to have stopped stocking it and have replaced with AC90 (never tried it), Toolstation do 5l WD40 for £24.99.

I don't use lots of WD40 of late.

It is tins of brake cleaner and silicon spray I get thru!

It did indeed!
Customer tried to ship them to Europe saying thet were roof boxes to avoid paying a small surcharge for a dangerous goods notice. Channel tunnel wouldn't allow them so would have had to go on a ferry. Customer then went bust. We had a load of charges to pay but for once recovered our costs.
Sadly all gone now.

about 40 years ago there was a transport firm behind my workshop, one of their lorries had a puncture / tyre fire, all the pallets of customers goods were scrapped by the insurance co. amongst other things I got a bale of towelling, my wife and mum made all sorts out of that, came across a bit the other day,

I use the beal maintance spray in 5L normally that worked out the cheapest for me especially on black friday
