When I was at college I used to spin ten pence pieces in the lathe to clean one side off, then get them engraved with names, or patterns. Drill a hole, nice little pendant. Until one of our lecturers inform me it was very against the law.
Did you ever make a double headed coin? Something I have seen on You Tube and thought I might have a go at but never got around to it.
