steve it really isnt worth it the mods are doing there job but its not a set in stone rule some do get through

as long as it isnt taken out of context i agree with it but some do and can cause a right argument

which many dont want to see on here

as long as the mods stay neutral in all this its the best way forward

Probably the kind of "men" who were social misfits at school, and got beaten up quite often as a result, and are more than likely under the proverbial matrimonial thumb at home.

But if they derive some weird gratification from deleting a post that they don't like, (and let's be honest, politics and Covid 19 are hardly relevant are they ), it's preferable to them taking out their frustrations elsewhere...

As for the "naughty step", I'm reminded of Casey Ryback's comments regarding Commander Krill and all the horrible things he'd do...

I had cause to go on the Screwfix forum yesterday, following a link about garage electrics....... ....nothing has changed, still obnoxious, shirty remarks on almost every thread.

Same with Pistonheads, I was on that forum for years, but it got so you couldn’t ask a question of any sort without getting obnoxious crap back within a half dozen replies. Any subject, every subject, and I started giving grief to all the idiots until I got banned. I rejoined recently, but haven’t even posted yet, nothing seems to have changed over there.

That’s why I like it here, lots of help, no grief, very little friction or arguments.

Yeah i Get frustrated when I see right wing posts and try not to reply. I do however report them occasionally.
As you say it's context as historical accounts will inevitably contain political claims.
A hell of a lot of things fall into political arenas without intention by their very nature.

The end result is we know the rules or we need to read them and accept the mods actions.
