Reading this without being able to see the picture .. can any of the parts be 3D printed in ABS etc ? It seems we have some very capable guys on the site who can do amazing things with a 3 D printer & a decent CAD to print programme .As the chances of getting spares for it seem quite remote, and the bottom pulley is going to need a new outer welding to it, I suspect you are right.
